Promoting a copy of an already successful map... Its a big BR creator so why am I not surprised....🥱

I’m glad you asked Wert! STEP 1: Replace the short sided “favorite” system with a full fledged 5 tiered written review system. This is what every one else does that offers mass moderated user generated content publishing. Streaming platforms, app stores, steam, Xbox marketplace, I could go on and on. It’s the gold standard for a reason. Basically 1-5 stars with notes from the reviewer. Reviews could be reported by the developer. STEP 2: If there is human support that exists dedicated to curating discovery content, split that support into two groups. Team (A)wack-a-moles bad actors who intentionally violate TOS. You can’t ban them all, so start with violators that maintain a CCU higher than 1,000 players. Group (B) provides moderation support/communicating with creators as to why their maps are rejected. This group would also handle the take down of false reviews as this goes hand in hand with developer communication. The automation currently in place can remain as is. STEP 3: The algorithm/rows in discovery should be adjusted to account for the following. The names are self explanatory. - Recently Played - Highest Reviewed - Most Engaging - New Releases The remainder of the rows based on categories would be curated by a balance between engagement first, reviews second. CONCLUSION: I love Epic Games and I am sure there are reasons I am unaware of as to why these steps have not been taken. But to me, overhauling the review system is a no brainer. Let the players speak for themselves in a way that’s deeper than yes or no. Does Steam review games outside of semi-automation? No, they let the users do it. Epic shouldn’t have to “creatively moderate,” they should do what they did with game development and unleash the community. @FNCreate
