Meet Zeus 🐾 Last week, officers found this little guy abandoned and tied to a fence post. We believe he had been there for more than 24 hours, left out in the rain. Officer McNabb responded to the scene and rescued Zeus, making sure he got the care and attention he needed.

It meant challenging a legal system that simply did not understand the complexity of the COVID era. We didn’t follow a path — we had to build it. Yes, we received attention. Yes, we were criticised. Because it’s always easy to pick at the edges of an argument when you don’t want to confront the substance. They said there were gaps in what we were saying. But now it’s clear: There were no gaps in the argument. The only gap was justice. People lost their jobs for speaking up. People were silenced for telling the truth. Families paid the price. Now even the media is beginning to admit what should never have been denied. So the question is no longer whether we were right. The question is: Who will be held accountable for getting it so catastrophically wrong? And for every person who was terminated for refusing to stay silent — who will be terminated for the decisions, directives, and denials that caused the harm?
