ICYMI, walk-in PCR testing at Anna Cole ends today. AFAIK, no replacement site has been announced. A lot of the BPS community relied on this place. Thank you, Anna Cole Testing Ppl, for being there for our family & others. Giant double birdie flip to whomever made this decision.

@ArielleGoldman TBH it would be legitimately difficult to install mini-splits in 120 y.o. brick buildings and 60 y.o. ones made of solid concrete, but I'm intrigued by what "getting ventilation done" means here. Last I heard it was window open 2", a dorm room air purifier & a prayer.

@BPSRogueOne school committee says they’ll get ventilation done by NEXT summer! We had mini splits installed in our condo in 4 days with financial assistance from the state. Do they need more invasive hvac?

A reminder that "ending mask mandate" does not mean "no one can wear masks". A high-quality mask (N95, KN95, KF94) is highly effective and protects the wearer, even if others are no longer masking.

@shawphd Cafeterias don’t have sensors, the classroom sensors have no alerts, and many of the units still aren’t calibrated despite being installed last September. Both of our cities need real-time CO2 monitoring like Boston is pretending to have.

@MsWaterMallon BPS often sends email updates to parents/families before they're sent to teachers. I have legit asked my kids' teachers about things that they had not yet been notified about.
