Nah, this was one of the legit worst moments in the history of television. The show was already showing signs of decline, and it was clear the writers didn't know how to keep it going... so they just went with cheap misery porn, with repetitive, depressing tone-whiplash elements that didn't make sense. It was all just a shift towards manipulative shock instead of a meaningful story arc. Millions of viewers said nope, and never came back

@YrAwenBardd @muddaub Same here. Wrting multiple pov book. Often some times has progressed, but on occassion I do continue with a character exactly where it ended last. Like after a nice cliffhanger. If you hav3e 3 other chapters in between, it can be fine.

@muddaub I'm writing a multi POV book so each new chapter usually means a change in POV, which is usually also a change in scene. There are a small handful of scenes where a change in POV simply continues the scene from a new perspective, but generally with each chapter is a little break
