Thank you @exploratorium for inviting us to showcase Zephyr, we hope to be back again! We presented our solar car and all its facets, inspiring the next generation of people in STEM and bringing increased awareness to how technology can advance environmental sustainability!

We are in Las Vegas, NM! Our day began with a solar car drive to Trinidad. We then trailered over the Raton Pass. Race officials highly encouraged this trailering, and even required it for a sub-section. Tomorrow we will resume racing! This time to Santa Fe and back☀️

Goodbye Kansas! Hello Colorado! We passed through La Junta today, and are on our way towards Trinidad. We ended with very low SOC, but managed over 200 miles today!

We got out of Dodge! We ran into a few issues along the way, including a strong headwind and cloud cover, but made it past the Dodge City checkpoint. We are now charging during the evening and will be continuing onto La Junta tomorrow!

We made it to McPherson! CalSol capped off a great day of racing by completing a challenge loop with a mere minute to spare. With this extra distance in hand we are in a great position for the coming legs. Excited to set out tomorrow!

CalSol set off on ASC today and sailed through the checkpoint at Council Grove, Kansas. Zephyr has ran well today, with only a small MPPT related roadside diversion to slow us down. Onto McPherson!☀️

We have arrived in @cityofindependencemo! We will be displaying our solar car here for the rest of the day, and resting our members before ASC. Come through and say hi!

FSGP is complete! Congrats to @uksolarcar and @umnsvp on their wins! CalSol raced 190 laps, placing us 5th overall! Even more importantly, we are qualified for ASC🏁 After the race we took team photos and began the arduous processing of packing up. Next stop Independence!
