@Paula_White Beware of false teachers that peddle the gospel for their own selfish gain.
English

@LogicApplied2It @grok I don't need grok to tell me what the Bible tells me. Prayer is a form of worship. If you are praying to something or someone then you are worshipping it. Common sense.
English

This right here 👇🏻 is what makes Catholisicm a false religion. They have added things to God's Word.
Mary CANNOT redeem/save you, she CANNOT mediate for you or intercede for you.
JESUS is our ONLY mediator and Saviour 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Make It Make Sense@LogicApplied2It
@BevNVR @OliLondonTV Catholics don’t “worship” Mary either. We do however venerate her. She is the CoRedemptrix, the Mediatrix, and the great intercessor.
English

@NGreene76 @OliLondonTV Prayer is a form of worship.
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV Veneration is not worship. Get a clue.

@LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV And this statement right here is what makes Catholisicm a false religion. It adds things to the gospel that are untrue and therefore becomes a "gospel" that cannot save. It minimises what Jesus has done and who He is and elevates other people, including the Pope. It is corrupt.
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV Catholics don’t “worship” Mary either. We do however venerate her. She is the CoRedemptrix, the Mediatrix, and the great intercessor.
English

@LogicApplied2It @LunaTessa7 @OliLondonTV But NOT stated by God. NOWHERE in Scripture is Mary called a mediator, JESUS is the ONLY mediator - NO-ONE comes to the Father BUT through ME" John 14:6. 1 Tim 2:5.
Your dear fathers have added SO MUCH to God's Word which is heresy.
English

@LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV Simple...the faithful saints that bore witness (while on earth) to God's goodness and mercy. Just as Peter and Paul are inspirations/witnesses to us through written history so are others. "Cloud" can also just be figurative for many fellow saints here on earth.
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV And what does “the cloud of witnesses” refer to???
English

@BevNVR @LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV You are in disagreement with the unanimous opinions of the first 1500 years of Christianity, including all the ecumenical councils, and even of Martin Luther.
English

@MNFreedomMom @OliLondonTV We shouldn't be praying to her. Jesus taught us how to pray..."Our Father..." not "Dear Mary".
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV Catholics don’t worship Mary; they honor Mary. You don’t think Mary should be honored?
English

@LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV That refers to people that are alive on this earth that we converse with. Please provide a verse that states the dead hear us.
English

Praying for One Another
The Bible clearly teaches that believers should pray for one another. The most direct command is in James 5:16:
"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
- Paul frequently asking churches to pray for him and his ministry (e.g., 1 Thessalonians 5:25, "Brothers, pray for us"; 2 Thessalonians 3:1; Ephesians 6:18-19).
- General calls to intercede for others, such as praying for leaders, enemies, or the sick (e.g., 1 Timothy 2:1-2 urges "supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people"; Matthew 5:44 on praying for those who persecute you).
The practice of asking Mary and saints for intercession (“pray for us”) flows from the communion of saints, the effectiveness of righteous prayer (James 5:16), heavenly awareness (Hebrews 12:1, Revelation passages), and Mary’s unique role. It is seen as asking fellow Christians in heaven to join in prayer, not worshiping them or bypassing Christ. Mary’s intercession is viewed as subordinate and dependent on Jesus.
English

@LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV Such as? Please provide verses where it says we must or can pray to Mary or any dead.
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV So you ignore what is written in the Bible?
English

@NUKE2019 @OliLondonTV God was very clear about NOT creating statues to pray to. Having a statue of Mary is idolatry!
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV So planting flowers is your definition of “Worship” ?
English

@LogicApplied2It @OliLondonTV I go directly to God. My friends that I talk to are still living on this earth. No-one other than God hears us. Once again...praying to anyone else is idolatry.
English

Really??? Have you ever asked a friend to “pray for you”
That’s all we ask Mary. We do not go to her for anything other than intercession in our behalf. We do not claims she has the power of God or that she is at the same level as God. We do not worship her. We highly respect her for who she is.
We ask her to pray for us. It’s literally in the Bible.
English

@Cecelia518 @OliLondonTV If you pray to her, you are worshipping her. It is as simple as that.
English

@BevNVR @OliLondonTV And neither do Catholics- we have the internet now. It’s ok to learn about people instead of relying on 500 yo gossip.
English

@Reeseforsure Please rather go to a church that will preach the gospel and God's Word.
