Canada banned therapists from helping kids to understand the truth about their sex, and all of our politicians voted for it, including the Conservatives. The ban doesn’t just apply to therapists. Anyone, including parents, can be charged with the crime of conversion therapy for helping a child to avoid having body parts cut off and being sterilized. The reason Mr. Carney hides from Question Period is that his real record (not the illusion) is doubling the deficit, no pipelines approved, no crime laws changed, while giving Canada the only shrinking economy and worst food price inflation in the G7. Keep on pandering to the worst people in Canada, Pierre. It's been a winning strategy so far. The vast majority of Canada doesn't think the trans "issue" is an issue at all, and would rather let a tiny percentage of people live their lives in peace.

I, and Alberta's government, believe that biological men do not belong in women’s sports, period. So, I'm very glad to see the International Olympic Committee has followed Alberta's lead to protect the integrity of female athletic competition by ensuring only biological females can compete in female events. Women and girls deserve a level playing field. That’s why our government has already taken a balanced approach through the Fairness and Safety in Sport Act, ensuring biological women and girls can participate fairly in the sports they love. I expect national sporting organizations, including Skate Canada, will follow Alberta and the IOC’s lead in protecting the fairness and safety of women's sport.
