Hello! My Name is Blue Rivule. I am your friendly Undine VTuber. I like playing games over on Twitch. I spent my First year on Twitch mainly playing Elden Ring. However, recently I have been trying to expand my content into other things. I've checked out Games like PEAK, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and more. If you are a fellow small Vtuber like me and want to reach out, feel free, just don't try to be fake. I appreciate honesty and being upfront. If you want to play games, tell me in your first message. If you want to try and sell me on Comms, Tell me at the start. I have a hard time replying to people who just reach out saying "Hello." because 9/10 times, it's someone that just wants be to pay for their services. I'd love to learn form other streamers. I want to figure out how I know what to clip of my own streams. How to edit clips to make for easier viewing. How to get more people to see my content. I want to grow as a content creator. I want to learn how to be entertaining without being fake. Now, one day I hope to be able to do a lot more commisions, but I'm not in a spot where I can financially do so. I'm gonna need to disagree with the idea that the Vtuber Community as a whole should be open to people under 18. I will say, that it could be nice to have more Vtubers producing content tailored to younger audiences. But, as with any content creation, there are big risks to consider. 1) Anonymity. Being anonymous is a big perk to Vtubing, but when you have anonymous people being the entertainment for younger minds, it could encourage bad actors. 2) there is a large separation between Vtubing and regular IRL content creation. Because of this, even though there are so many different Vtubers, they all tend to get grouped together. This makes it hard enough as it is to tell when a Vtuber may be trying to lean towards more mature content or not. 3) with Vtubing specifically, you have to ask "When is this content creator being genuine, and when are they playing a character?" Because Vtubers use models/Avatars there is a disconnect between the person who is streaming and the character the viewer is watching. This disconnect can really play heavily into parasocial relationships between streamer and viewer. Especially when dealing with a younger audience. -Now, while teens do TYPICALLY know when to separate character from Actor. It can get really confusing, especially if a Vtuber acts one way when live, and another when just in their community, and it can be jarring to see multiple sides, especially when you only have the view of the character. What I'm saying probably doesn't make sense in the context given, and could be wrong, these are just personal beliefs I have, not supported by any evidence other than my own experiences in the Vtubing space.

For vtubers who wear glasses for a living irl. Do you guys take of your glasses? Or leave them on during stream?

If you want to, you are more than welcome to draw my character however you like. I do not plan on commissioning any art for the time being, especially if the person is interrupting another Vtuber's post to try and get a comission. As I said, I'd love to see any fanart if you wanna make that.

People always talk about "supporting VTubers" like it starts and ends with money, but honestly some of the biggest support is just being there Being in chat Sharing their stuff Clipping funnny moments Bringing them up unprompted Making them feel seen That kind of support matters so so much 🫶

@BedeeliaBoueti If I went viral overnight, assuming it means I will now be getting a good income from streaming, I would go 10x harder into Vtubing, paying off bills, and getting a lot more commissions so I could continue to grow and increase the experience for viewers.
