However, recently I have been trying to expand my content into other things. I've checked out Games like PEAK, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and more. I'd love to learn form other streamers. I want to figure out how I know what to clip of my own streams. How to edit clips to make for easier viewing. How to get more people to see my content. I want to grow as a content creator. I want to learn how to be entertaining without being fake.

@Zemyris Oh, definitely then. I think if you can do a voice, go for it. But then the question is if you feel like you can comfortably maintain the voice for the duration of stream if that is what you want. But overall, it's your stream. You do whatever you want to do.

@BlueRivule Well thats an interesting take, but I meant more for having the talent to actually voice act, not use a voice changer. I like to think on my own, I can make my models sound the way I want them to and I actually prefer that. I think it opens a lot of possibilities.

🌐⚡ Vtubers! When you're LIVE are you the type to make your voice match your model or use your real voice? I'm making a list of things to try and this is the big question!

I only see this poll now, But if I saw it while it was live, I'd answer that I use my real voice. But if people want to use a voice changer, that's fine by me. As a viewer though, it depends on the content. Having an unnatural voice is a neat gimmick, but it's not something I necessarily want to hear for the full duration of a stream. A great example that comes to my mind is GLaDOS from Portal and Portal2 They are voice lines that play at specific points in the game. Being a robot, it makes sense that he voice is robotic. But if you had to hear her voice for several hours reading chat, narrating what you are doing, telling stories, etc.... to me, I'd grow tired of the robotic voice fairly quickly. Another example is @BarleyTheBurr and his "bad" mic. He doesn't spend his stream just screaming into his mic, he does it to emphasize a point and be funny, but it's still a "gimmick" that he became known for. On the other side, people will use a voice changer not for a gimmick voice, but to change their voice entirely but they still sound like a natural human voice, and in this case, I'd still be able to tolerate watching for extended periods of time. But this is all my own personal opinion on this. Other people may disagree.
