@RyanAWagMMA It should be possible. Trek has always been episodic rather than serial, so number of eps per season shouldn't matter. But modern TV doesn't allow for episodic storytelling

@BoxingBusch Some of what I've seen from strange new worlds is decent. It's probably impossible to make star trek that feels satisfying with 10 episode seasons even if the writing is good.

@BoxingBusch Willfully ignoring how many plots across multiple Star Trek series are based on immutable characteristics of alien races.
Challenge to not point out the exceptions that prove the rule.
Ferengi, Romulans, Klingons, Jem’Hadar etc.
