We need to stop normalizing tossing the term “transphobic” around so loosely in this community. The intent of this video was not to harm the trans community, it was just meant to highlight the accomplishments of c1s women, which is genuinely appreciated tbh.

@ussuriii @bork_fireforge this was never about distinguishing our issues lol don't be disingenuous. achievements of trans women in this community have not been appreciated on the basis of their gender because they are not seen as "real" women, and i think it's evident you feel the same

@BreakthroughGD @bork_fireforge Crediting trans people is important. However crediting biological woman in a community filled with misogyny is important and meaningful too. Trans and biological women face both similar and different issues and being able to distinguish the two is not harmful

@bork_fireforge Biological women deserve credit too. We are often treated very poorly and seen as “incapable”. This attitude is directed primarily towards biological women. We deserve to feel appreciated in a community where misogyny is at an all time high.
