Yes. I am working on it. It has four separate high quality sensors for PM, Co2, VOC and formaldehyde to cover most of the hazard in the air. The battery can last for 12 hours after fully charged. I believe it can be one of the best air quality monitor in the market. I think we can release them in about 6 month.

@suchnerve Unless I'm mistaken it has to do with the voltage. If I plug my EV into a DCFC the station is either matching the car's voltage or giving ~400V that the car is designed to step-up to it's 800V range with a module. It's cheaper to use the onboard AC converter to regulate voltage.

EVs not supporting DC slow charging seems illogical in the context of so many people now having solar panel + home battery setups, which currently must invert their DC into AC only for an EV’s onboard power supply to turn it right back into DC - about 10 to 20% total power loss.

For that matter, we now know from Aptera Motors’s R&D that it’s feasible to charge EV batteries directly from solar panels without a buffer battery in between; there’d be a further 10% efficiency boost by skipping the internediary to plug rooftop solar panels directly into an EV.
