GSBS Experimental Pathology PhD student Michael McKelvey recently published a study describing IL-10 regulation of IFN-γ to alleviate acute lung injury in a viral-bacterial superinfection model. Our @UTMBGSBS had a terrific Inaugural Awards Ceremony this afternoon to celebrate the outstanding contributions of its faculty and staff members. Congratulations to all the award recipients! We thank them for all they do to support our students’ success.

Rest in Peace to a special person, Ligg the Legend. He was the heart and soul of Westbrook. Can’t put into words what this guy means to everyone who knew him. Always went out of his way for others. You couldn’t help but enjoy every moment with Ligg. Going to miss him so much ❤️🐐
