Bloke I went to school with, on Facebook, is saying he’ll never take a vaccine because he “doesn’t know what’s in it”, which is a bit weird because I distinctly remember him putting a tab of LSD under his eyelid in R.E. once.

Saddened indeed to read that the laying low of our elderly was perhaps their carers’ doing, the noble Mister Johnson clear of any blame. Would that they, in the words of Mister Rees-Mogg, had simply used “common sense” and devised a strategy of their own to confound the plague!

People will assume that NHS is a completely public run body..in reality parts of NHS are out to private tender and have been for years. Money is going to private companies to run services...

@guyverhofstadt That just shows how little you understand about the British, Mr Verhofstadt. If you simply studied a little history, you'd know it is our deeply held democratic principles which made membership of the EU repugnant to so many of us.

@DeepblueBoy65 @serliamholman People are influenced/ manipulated into what they want. They are told that unemployment and lack of housing is the result of immigrants. It's an old trick of capitalists to pit ordinary people against each other, rather than the real problem of inequality in wealth/ opportunity.

This is just awful. The government stopped MPs from working from home and asked us to return to a building where social distancing is impossible. MPs are travelling home to every part of the country tonight. Reckless doesn’t even begin to describe it.
