Wildfire in Manitoba, intense and growing. See GOES East mid-ir band - bright white indicates active fire. Also, attached is the fine fuel moisture code (ffmc) map- areas greater than 91 ( red areas) means that dead fuel moisture is 10% or less. Very dry fuels.

#BCWildfire is responding to the Magee Road wildfire, ~15 kms NW of Brackendale, near #Squamish. There are currently 37 firefighters on site, being assisted by helicopters & heavy machinery. The fire is ~100 has in size. More information: ow.ly/Pj0M30qyren
