@AlfonsoSpencer9 Lightning can definitely be one of the connecting approaches - it has atomic HTLC composition and can bridge other L2s and to other L1s (we are BLN compatible). Some extra work is required on our side to support L2s and ensure safe L1 settlement (e.g., thread token transfer etc.)

TL;DR We can leverage the isomorphic properties of Hydra, Midgard, and other potential future Cardano L2s to have seamless bridges between them. This effectively means we can have one interconnected Cardano L2 ecosystem where different L2s can speak to one another without having to go back to the L1. And have “one pool” of liquidity in the form of ADA (wrapped) for the entire L2 ecosystem, instead of many fragmented L2s that can’t speak with one another, with different tokens, and fragmented liquidity like on Ethereum. This is one of the most important proposals you can vote for on this Fund13.

@Star_Forge_Pool We’re designing the core protocol(s) and preparing to work on the nodes. Calvus offers income streams for liquidity providers routing payments, while the other two focus on unique use cases: x.com/CardanoLightni… Future edge nodes may enable cross-payments with BLN as well.
