@metalmayfantasy Yeah I was pleased to see that in first person mode if you lean you have to pull up or down on the left stick to turn. Kind of like a mini pro control mode.

If you use the Nintendo 64 controller, press c-up to go to first person If you use the Pro controller, press the minus button Also these challenges in Star Fox for the Switch 2 is kicking my butt 😄 how do you do a mission in under 3 minutes?

Been playing Star Fox over the weekend. This is a hell of a remake. Faithful to the original, looks amazing, plays great, and has some fun extra features. Glad I picked up a N64 pad for it too.

@Checkpoints_gg I played the first stage and the battle mode of 64 as a little kid but nothing further. I do want to check out the other games like Assault.

I just finished Star Fox. It's pretty damn great. I know on-rail shooters are a product of a bygone era, but this game has a lot of replayability and charm to it. And I'm happy that Nintendo is looking to FINALLY do more with the franchise now. I'd say it's a solid 8 for me.

StarFox is off and running on the Nintendo Switch 2. Many retail stores are sold out as the game is flying off the shelves with the game getting rave reviews. For those who were hoping StarFox would get a strong showing and it would catapult the series back into Nintendo's plans for future games with new stories. It seems you are getting your wish

@lastchalice Agree. The art and sound design is so damn good. Caught myself smiling at multiple points today playing it. Interested to see if new players find it as enjoyable as people who played the older versions.

Star Fox isn’t getting enough praise. - Revitalizes the franchise - Reimagines Star Fox 64 - Surpasses Star Fox 64 - Gives it AAA polish & presentation - $50 at launch I’m astonished. This is a Capcom Resident Evil level treatment for a remake. It’s all here & better than ever.
