Tatsuya Ishida is in his early 50s, so some of his earliest cartoons are from his time at UCLA which include some political cartoons that deal the 1992 election. A nice visual accompaniment to Ganz's When the Clock Broke imo.

american "respect the troops" culture is INSANE to me because here in romania I have never talked to anyone, including rightists, who didn't think the army was a bunch of prasites doing nothing of value for the average person
