I hate that we have to have the Gavin Newsom discourse when the chances he wins the nomination should stay very low But also think folks definitely using Newsom as an umbrella to say there are at a lot of Dems they just won’t show up to vote for
Chris Sosa@ChrisSosa

An NBC News survey found Newsom was even less popular than Trump, with Trump underwater by 12 points and Newsom by 18. Conversely, AOC polled ahead of Trump, Newsom and the Democratic Party itself. sosavstate.com/p/gavin-newsom…

@RestoringNotRad @DeepNotShallow Joe Manchin is a centrist. Kirsten Sinema is a centrist. Joe Biden is more centrist than Clinton or Harris. This might be confusing but politics a spectrum and while you may not think Clinton or Harris were progressive, they are progressive relative to the rest of the country.

Centrists say centrism wins hard seats. Clinton lost. Kamala lost. Meanwhile Platner and Talarico are polling to flip Republican Senate seats as unapologetic progressives. Offer voters Republican-lite and they'll choose the real thing every time.

Rep David Valadao has won multiple hard races, in a very moderate district. The purpose of these primaries is not to win ideological battles within the Democratic party - it is to beat the Republican and take back the House. Please act accordingly.

Like when you think about Dems you have all these policy differences. What to do with climate change, what to do with student loans, child care, guns, health care, foreign policy, banks, taxes. Republicans don’t fight about healthcare because they don’t have a healthcare plan

Republicans have enough shared core beliefs that any generic right wing pundit would resonate with them, especially when they aren’t dealing in reality. Dems are more diverse, especially policy wise and thus will have a hard time finding one person to be their voice
Tim@trouble_man90

The Hasan debate isn’t really about him personally, it’s about how democrats and democratic voters have no control over our representation in the media. If republican voters said “we don’t want this guy representing us”, that would be the end of the discussion, but for democrats we have to constantly battle the media and our own side over stuff like this. It’s been ongoing for the past 10+ years

Really don’t see the appeal of Jon Stewart, feel like I’m missing something other than ridiculing republicans endlessly. Jon Ossoff S tier Stewart B tier Ro Khanna A tier Von Hollen D tier Harris at D tier feels weird.. but in line with others

@kenklippenstein Tbf half the reason Bondi was fired was the Epstein files and I think that anyone who helped pushed that through can say they contributed to that. Similarly the subpoena that required her to come testify for her infamous Dow at 50k comment
