With a heavy heart, we’re announcing the closure of Contribo.
The reason is simple: we didn’t reach product–market fit.
That’s never easy to admit, but it’s the truth. And we believe in building with honesty, even when it hurts.
Still, this isn’t the end. It’s the closing of one chapter in a much longer story.
Contribo was a wild and rewarding ride. We built, shipped, iterated and learned more than we ever expected.
Most importantly, we walk away sharper, humbler, and better prepared for what’s next.
Here’s what we’re taking with us:
🔸We now understand competitive dynamics with much more clarity.
🔸We’ve learned how investors actually evaluate early-stage projects.
🔸We’ve become significantly better at presenting, pitching, and refining ideas.
That alone makes this a win in our eyes.
Along the way, we met so many incredible people.
To everyone who supported us, challenged us, believed in us, and even criticized us — thank you.
Your time, feedback, and energy helped us grow in ways we’ll never forget.
But now, it’s time to close this chapter. Not with regret, but with gratitude.
We’ll take everything we’ve learned and come back stronger.
The next thing we build will be better because of this.
