@courtneyellis I went to the doctors with list of symptoms & said that I think it’s perimenopause and I’d like to discuss treatments and they said “you’re too young, it can’t be that” but didn’t consider anything else, just ignored it. I’m 45 and it’s taken me 12 months to be taken seriously.

Any other women in their early 40s go to the doctor with weird symptoms and have them say, “Oh, well that’s perimenopause,” and while you knew menopause would hit around 50 the fact that there’s a decade of bizarre body behavior leading up to it is COMPLETELY NEW INFORMATION?
