That’s exactly the point. Poor policy and mismanagement erode the legitimacy of fiat monetary regimes without any help at all from crypto. Governments are making their own bed.

I can't stress this enough: the crypto attack on the dollar is not strictly a "pump and dump" or a "grift." It's an ideologically-driven attack on the legitimacy of fiat currency, the @federalreserve, and the incumbent financial system. It is the sequel to the January 6th attack.

The government should be forced to "pre-register" its aims with particular policies
If the pre-registered aims of a policy are not achieved, policy cancelled.
Instead, we get doubling down and shifting goal posts.

This is important: USDC blacklisting has gone from a hypothetical concern to a real risk. CENTRE should now explain in detail what criteria it uses in deciding when to blacklist an address. Was this compelled by court order or done voluntarily? Is there a process for appeal? Etc.
