🧵- Early #cancer detection in primary care is often challenged by vague, non-specific symptoms. Following implementation of C the Signs across Somerset ICB, patterns of diagnosis began to shift - with improved referral precision, a 10% cancer conversion rate, and a significant increase in early-stage diagnoses across multiple cancer types.

The earliest chance to spot cancer usually comes in primary care, when symptoms are vague and decisions aren’t straightforward. It’s good to see that reflected in coverage of the National Cancer Plan. We’re proud to be supporting clinicians at that early point, in line with the Plan’s ambitions 💜
