how rare and beautiful it is to even exist
I feel like Jews who go out of their way to have like a bacon cheeseburger on YK are actually more religious than they think they are, because the non religious thing to do would just be treat the day exactly like any other day

@terraloire back in my day pizza was ordered by phone, so you couldn’t confirm the order until you’d heard yourself say the toppings out loud

I accidentally ordered a cursed pizza. When I was choosing the toppings it sounded good.… it’s horrible, and if I say the toppings out loud it’s like “of course that’s horrible”. Cursed.

@Sean_YYZ What makes them so? What is the technical difference between RMs and counties, other than being in urban vs rural areas?

if I hadn’t been invited to a wedding at the King Edward I wouldn’t know which King Edward it was named after. And honestly I’d be pissed off if it was VIII

Hard to pick a single favourite graphic that I made in my time on payroll for a polling company, but this one is up there.

@MerriamWebster Sorry but the dictionary table will “look well in your home or office”? Do you guys know the difference between “well” as an adjective and “well” as an adverb?

@MerriamWebster “High level”, cause it sounds like it means important but it just means vague.

@tonyzaret I hate to say it but this #business theory has been #debunked by top economists - there exists no such job in Ireland. You will, however, be paid over $1000 if you are elected as Taoiseach

@abdulmujeeb_aj @MerriamWebster Three are common nouns (the animal) and three are proper nouns (the city) being used as noun modifiers, so in a sense adjectives.

“Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo, buffalo Buffalo buffalo.” The above sentence actually means something and is grammatically correct. Come with us on this journey where the buffalo roam.

@MerriamWebster No, it's not grammatically correct, though it would be without the comma. A comma doesn't belong between subject and predicate (unless it's one of two commas bracketing an unessential clause).
