Like most young men, the standard for the way I approached everything in my life was always set by my dad. His ability to enact kindness and fortitude, resilience, and courage all at once have been unparalleled by any one else I have known. The other people in my life that I look up to closely resemble many of the same qualities that I have witnessed from him. Many people know that he was a great wrestler, but for those unaware he was a: 2x NCAA All-American NCAA Finalist Olympic Alternate 13 year coach at Michigan State in the Big Ten He is really the only reason that by about the age of 5 years old I had already decided and proclaimed that I would be a college wrestler. It’s really exciting and cool for me to let everyone know that he will also be a full time coach at Ethos Wrestling Club this spring and summer. Not only will it make the experience very gratifying for me, I know that he has a ton to offer our athletes and their families as he built the foundation for success that my brother and I were able to find. Our company is purchasing a large storage facility in Rockford, IL. We are looking to contract a local wrestling club for maintenance and cleanup.

We would like to make a monthly donation to the wrestling club and in exchange we would need some monthly maintenance tasks at the facility. Nothing too crazy at all. I’m going to start working on implementing this at storage facilities we own across the Midwest and southeast as it is a potential win/win for both sides.

This is perfectly communicated and the majority of athletes struggle with it especially when they graduate from college athletics. I definitely did right away. If more professional athletes spoke about their failures and struggles while working their way to the top, it would really help the younger kids watching them as they would be able to relate to it personally as they work their way towards their goals as well. Great interview and important to separate the tangible accomplishments from the intangible purpose of life to prioritize correctly.
