"America is a scandalously lazy and uninformed land which prefers a sense of decorum to a sense of history. The elected imbeciles strolling the halls of government. The platitudes with which they perfume their genocidal hypocrisy regarding bombed children. The Congressional committees which conduct themselves as a grotesque amalgam of the Sanhedrin and the Council Of Trent. All are a direct result of a citizenry with a limitless inability to fathom." counterpunch.org/2024/05/13/a-j…

“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me..." 🚨 ÚLTIMA HORA: Los liberales están enloquecidos tras los rumores de que se planea construir una enorme estatua de Jesús, el Cristo de la Libertad, en el puerto de Nueva York para honrar la herencia cristiana de Estados Unidos. ¿Cuál es tu reacción?

@Mariners The big question will be "Can the Mariners average more than 2 runs per game in the next home stand?"

@lelemSLP The Jews were welcomed by the Palestinian people who lived on the land for centuries....they are semites, as are the Jews. The Jewish people returned their hospitality by stealing their homes and driving them out of Palestine. Don't bother telling us your fairy tales.

I came to Israel from Lithuania at age 15, and at 18 I was in IDF, serving my country. Look how much hate I will receive in the comments, for the great sin of coming from another country. And this hate will come from Pakistanis who came to Europe, from Muslims whose ancestors occupied the Middle East countries, and from privileged Americans, Canadians, Australians - descendants of colonizers. As opposed to all of them, we, Jews, didn't colonize anything. We came to the country that Zionists revived. We came to the land that our ancestors are indigenous to. We are descendants of Holocaust survivors and of many generations of Jews that were always persecuted because of their ethnicity. And no, we didn't steal any land from "Palestinians", the whole "stolen land" narrative is propaganda and lie. If it was true - some of those poor "stolen land victims" could show documents proving that the land belonged to them and was stolen, right? Those documents would be all over internet. But there is nothing, nada, zero. So we are attacked in our own country, just because Muslims want to occupy our country, and murder us all, but we won't let them.

@jimoberman @atrupar You want to bet that your picture of you and Obama will survive the nuclear holocaust--that Donald Trump could actually begin--that it's just "war" and "negotiation?"

A pity that President Moon did not have the courage to break with the USA on the issue of reunification of the ROK and DPRK. It will be a long, difficult process, but one that the Koreans can resolve, with the help and encouragement of the Asian nations and the willingness of the United States to allow Koreans the opportunity to chart their own course...something that has been denied to Koreans since the Japanese colonization of the early 20th Century.

Trump: “We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.” Trump (and I guess the world) are benefiting from the complete dereliction of the media to have reported on this ten point plan. It is weeks old. But I am fine letting Trump pretend it’s brand new and he forced it out of them.

Trump started a war, got the shit kicked out of him, was forced to make massive concessions to terms Iran set weeks ago, and now his supporters are trying to spin this as brilliant strategic dealmaking. Reminds me of that tweet about how Elon Musk could slam his dick in a car door and his fans would tell him "masterful gambit, sir". Tehran's 10-point peace plan reportedly entails the removal of ALL sanctions on Iran and the release of Iranian funds and frozen assets, the funding of reconstruction in Iran via charging hefty fees for Strait of Hormuz transit, the cessation of attacks not just in Iran but in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, and the permanent commitment not to attack Iran again. These are guarantees Tehran did not have before the war started. In return they will do things they were already doing before the war, including letting ships through the Strait of Hormuz and refraining from seeking nuclear weapons. This is very clearly and obviously a win for Iran and a loss for the US/Israel. But I don't expect anyone who still supports Donald Trump in April 2026 to acknowledge this.

The world has taken note of what the US does to its pawns. As such, the head of Taiwan China's KMT is set to meet with China's president Xi Jinping to take a new path, away from being a mere pawn of the US empire. This is historic.

@MarinersONTap Not to worry...the Mariners had only 2 hits today, in their 5th straight loss, 3-0 to the Rangers. So far, our record against division opponents is 1-5.

I still can't believe the Mariners ended with 1 run and 2 hits... Cal Raleigh had a solo homer in the 1ST INNING.... ONE more hit the rest of the game. Of course, they lost 2-1. 4-7 to start the year. Vibes aren't great.

Yeah, the Chinese people are brutally forced to drive inexpensive electric cars, eat delicious food, live in affordable homes, travel on trains that can travel from Beijing to Shenzhen in 9 hours, have good health care, and live happy normal lives. Have you ever been to China? Do you know any "communist" Chinese people?
