President Trump has "a great relationship" with Vladimir Putin. Is that good?
In case you didn´t follow let me tell you some data points about Vladimir Putin:
- In 1999–2009 Putin started war in Chechnya with 80,000+ civilians killed and widespread destruction of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya.
- In 2014 Putin annexed Crimea and started war in Eastern Ukraine. He shelled civilian areas, including schools and hospitals, murdered 100,000+ people and displaced 1.5m of civilians of their homes.
- Since 2015 Putin waged a war in Syria supporting Asad´s regime. Russian airstrikes targeted hospitals, schools, and civilian infrastructure. Killed tens of thousands of people and vast number of homes.
- In current full scale invasion of sovereign Ukraine, Putin killed over 300,000 people , destroyed vast areas of the country and displaced millions of people of their homes.
- Putin´s crime against humanity include mass executions, torture, kidnaps of children, and destruction of civil infrastructure. Few examples:
1. Targeting of medical facilities including the Mariupol maternity hospital bombing (March 2022),
2. Kidnapping of Children where 20,000+ Ukrainian children were forcibly deported to Russia for "re-education" and adoption,
3. Bucha massacre (April 2022), where hundreds of civilians were executed by Russian troops,
4. Use of Cluster Munitions and Thermobaric Weapons: Indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas.
5. and much more
It´s absolute terror. This is not a movie. It´s a horrific reality caused by the greatest criminal of our century.
Putin deserves 10,000,000 life sentences. He´s not a guy you want to have a good relationship with.
Since 2000+ Putin scaled up his domestic murders, too:
1. Assassination of political opponents (e.g., Alexander Litvinenko, Boris Nemtsov).
2. Poisoning of dissidents (e.g., Alexei Navalny, Sergei Skripal).
3. Crackdown on free press, human rights, and political dissent.
4. Thousands of political prisoners and activists detained or killed.
Does this sound like a good friend for @VP @elonmusk and @realDonaldTrump ? Is this somebody you want to normalise your relationship with and do business?
Do you think Trump is having calls with this war criminal in good faith? Actions speak louder than words:
- Trump called Zelensky a "dictator without elections," falsely blamed him for starting the war with Russia and pushed Zelensky to accept cease fire without security guarantees.
- Trump has repeatedly praised Putin, calling him "smart," "strong," and a "genius," particularly regarding Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
- Trump never spoke badly about Putin. Never blamed him for any of the attrocities that Putin started.
- Putin recently invited Trump to mine minerals in Russia, in the "NEW TERRITORIES of Russia" and "OLD TERRITORIES OF RUSSIA COMING BACK". Hello Ukraine, Hello Baltic, Hello Slovakia, Hello Czechia, Hello Poland.
Is it all slowly coming together? Wait, it gets better.
Here’s some history of Trump’s ties with Russia:
- In 2016 U.S. intelligence agencies confirmed Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump win. The Mueller Report detailed multiple contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russian operatives.
- Trump Tower Moscow: During the 2016 campaign, Trump’s team secretly pursued a Trump Tower project in Moscow, which was not disclosed to the public..
- Meeting with Russian Officials: In June 2016, Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., met with a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower after being promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton as part of Russian government efforts.
- Putin Praise and Secretive Behavior: Trump repeatedly praised Putin, dismissed Russian aggression, and held private meetings with Putin, including one in Helsinki (2018)..
- Financial Ties: Investigations into Trump’s finances revealed ties to Russian oligarchs and investors. Trump was close to bankrupt in 1990s and early 2000s and turned around his financial situation by selling overpriced real estate to Russian Oligarchs. The condos in Trump Tower in New york were purchased anonymously without KYC and AML. Ideal avenue to launder dirty Russian money?
Are you still happy that Trump has a great relationsip with Putin? Clearly he has the greater good of humanity, american people and people in europe in mind. Right?
The Oval office meeting showed us how "calls with Putin are going great". You saw how Trump treated the war hero @ZelenskyyUa who is holding the Russian evil on his shield, like Kingdom of Gondor resisting Sauron for the greater good of all mankind.
Do you want to side with the good guys or with the bad guys? It always has implications for everyone at the end. Don´t think that Ukraine is just one more country you can let fall (including the crimes against humanity). And don´t think that Sauron will honour his cease fire.
Look through the fog and see the reality we are in. Europe is now going to stand up against the evil. Thanks god we have Keir Starmer, Emanuel Macron and German leaders aligned on this topic. It´s important for the future of humanity.
How will history books look upon the United States of America? In 1994 USA pushed Ukraine to remove thousands of nukes in an exchange to protect them. US now removed all its aid. And it seems to be pushing the Putin agenda (like a hasty cease fire allowing Putin to regroup his strenght to strike again). Elon Musk is trying to sway the public opinion with misleading memes in order to convince you this is OK and Zelensky is to blame.
