What’s your feeling about a GM using these? There are dozens, perhaps hundreds. Everything from physical descriptions to months on a calendar. Do these enhance game play or are they just a gimmick that take up room in a dice bag?

I watched their TV show religiously. My more “hip” friends kept telling me the Monkees were fake but I did not care. It’s not like Samantha on Bewitched was a real witch, either.
That show was very funny. I have no idea how it would hold up today. A lot of old comedy TV gets “stale”. Used to love Laugh-In and All in the Family and watching them today they go over like a turd in the punchbowl.
so I’m a little afraid to re-watch the Monkees.

Back in the day, I would use music for inspiration when creating adventures for my D&D table. I knew some others who did too. Typically, I like instrumental soundtracks. The Conan score by Poledouris was a favorite.
