@MarkJCarney Congratulations on your victory and please accept our apologies for @realDonaldTrump Feel free to kick 45s butt from Washington DC all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Long live Canadian sovereignty. You still have friends in the US.
English

@iKalebHenry Ok, just read the rules on B1G.org. It is possible to revert back to head to head in a 3+ team tiebreaker. You are correct. Thanks.
English

@DeepCDog It goes to head to head if there are two teams remaining in the tie. If Nebraska and Northwestern are tied in the round robin of 3+ teams, then Nebraska comes out ahead of Northwestern.
English

shorturl.at/yZ5P2 @iKalebHenry Re: the path forward with a loss scenario. Iowa and Rut advance via winning percentage leaving Neb and NW for the final spot at 1-3 each. It doesn’t go to head to head from there, but vs B1G top teams. Coming down to vs M’land where NW wins?
English

@Gaardsy Hindsight is 20/20, at the time my thought was to ice the game in that spot. Full length of field TD and recover onside kick, then they only need a FG. But odds favor that not happening. All would have been moot if we could pick up 1 yard on two attempts.
English

Horrible spot but I’m confused why taking the 3 isn’t the play there
Kevin Seifert@SeifertESPN
Vikings go for it on 4th-and-1 at the Packers' 4 and come up short on the Jalen Nailor jets sweep. Packers need two scores in the final 2:18 here.

@chadogden7 @Gaardsy @taylorswift13 I agree entirely and I think @taylorswift13 said much the same thing in her post.
English

@DeepCDog @Gaardsy @taylorswift13 Taylor wasn’t as big back then like she is now. But still goes to my take on ‘if you vote based off who endorses them, then you shouldn’t have a vote’. Ppl need to do their own research and vote, that applies to both sides.
English

Don’t want to take any of attention off of @taylorswift13 endorsement announcement so I will be delaying mine for the time being.
English

@chadogden7 @Gaardsy @taylorswift13 Or grow up? @taylorswift13 has been around since the late 2000s. Those 9-16 yr olds are well past voting age.

Rain, beer, pizza and Twins. #TwinsDailySocialClub Oh, and I won the meat raffle, ‘cause that’s how I roll. #BigWoodsBeef
English

@GopherHole Their pre Big Ten schedule last year was a meatgrinder. DePaul, UNLV, V-Tech, Purdue, Michigan and Miss St. all before January. This year was one of the easiest in the nation. I have hopes they can compete a little better that last year, but the Big Ten isn’t a cupcake league.
English

Does it feel like this #Gophers season is different? It is. They already surpassed the number of wins on December 29th that they had all last year (9)!
English

@GopherHole Embarrassing on two counts:
(1) See photos.
(2) How much a terrible, reversed call by officials means to you and meant to your. After all, without it, you end up 4-8 with 0% chance of a “bowl” (compared to a 2% chance of a “bowl”). Love it! Haha!

On #Christmas day let’s enjoy the gift that keeps on giving!! #Gophers #FloydIsHome #OfficialsGotItRight
English

@Gopherated The Gophers strength of schedule so far this year ranks 360 out of 362. The Big Ten is not a cupcake conference. I would love to see more BigTen wins, but I don’t have high hopes.
English

@dshav2 @TonyLiebert Sure he gets credit for the first half, there was a good game plan going in. The other coach made adjustments. This late game collapse is a regular thing for three years. Part of being a coach is getting your team back on track when they lose focus.
English

@TonyLiebert They were dominant for most of the game. Does he get credit for that part? The players lost focus in the second half of the second half and got bit. Run them, and chalk it up as a learning experience. #3
English

@TonyLiebert 6 - I think Ben is a good at some things; recruiting, filling in holes on the roster year to year, buy in from the players. He is a bad coach during the game. The late game collapses happen way too often, year after year. The players change, the only common element is Ben.

@stevenkoskela @PFF_College @NBCSports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes 2023 NCAA Football Rule 4, Section 1, Article 3, subsection g. Just because you haven’t seen it before doesn’t mean it isn’t applicable.
English

@DeepCDog @PFF_College @NBCSports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes Have never seen the call in 50 years + watching college football: not a fair catch, fair catch.
California, USA 🇺🇸 English

@stevenkoskela @PFF_College @NBCSports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes I agree, poor work by the officials. Should have been whistled dead and the ball spotted. The punt return should not have continued. Ultimately, the ball was spotted as it should have been.
English

@DeepCDog @PFF_College @NBCSports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes Difference between “invalid” fair catch and warning teammates to stay away from an unfielded punt? what’s the difference between an invalid fair catch and just not a fair catch.? Can a player be drilled by the punting team if he fields ball after an “invalid” fair catch signal?
California, USA 🇺🇸 English

@stevenkoskela @PFF_College @NBCSports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes Different rule. The call was for an invalid signal.
English

@PFF_College Yes. Doesn’t a fair catch require extension of an arm above the head? Where were the rules analysts on this one on the broadcast? @nbcsports @TheAthleticCFB @TheIowaHawkeyes
