@tomhfh Clearly both narratives are wrong. All 5 parties are stong in certain regions but weak in others. I guess apart from Reform who seem to have a fairly high minimum level of support everywhere.

@MarcusH_01 Respectfully, no. My experiences with liberal leadership have been deeply disappointing, frustrating, and, at times, genuinely distressing.
A reminder to all councils: no one is above the law, and accountability must apply to everyone equally.

A major appeal of supporting the Greens is:
“if you say you are voting Green, people are more likely to think you are a moral person, and less likely to become angry with you”

Polanski doesn’t deny he wants to ban horse (because he does) but just complains about the coverage. This is a sensible strategy - a lot of people leaning Green are for the Vibes - people who get their politics from GCSE Geography and Instagram.

I certainly accept that he is on immigration, but OP already stated that he disagrees with Zack’s immigration stance. Tbf if you can’t tell I’m very surprised that a Liberal Democrat would prefer to vote for Polanski.

Greens and Reform are so alike in this respect and Polanski and Farage make the exact same excuses. Minimal vetting and swathes of bonkers candidates selected with extreme views who give local politics a bad name.

@fodeballertoure @MarcusH_01 @PunishedRWR When you say almost everything I'm not sure what that means. Yes she's closer to free market economics than Zack but on anything else liberals care about; crime, drug policy, immigration, etc. Badenoch is clearly a more traditional conservative than Zack.
