I don't know what y'all do with your Telegram apps, but this BJpig thinks that everyone uses it for conducting frauds 🤡 As a case study, here's what I do with my Telegram app: - Stay in touch with some friends, especially the Singapore side of Tech Twitter. - Talk to my gf thete (because her parents are very active on WhatsApp) - Stay updated with Tech updates and brands (I am in many groups & channels related to Xiaomi & vivo) - Also, some study materials related to my MBBS course are stored in my saved messages. But yeah, sure buddy, I'm a fraudster like everyone else who uses Telegram. OH I DEFINITELY DUPE MY ~11K FOLLOWERS USING THIS APP❤️‍🔥

Oh hello, @durov Nobody is using Telegram in India for messaging. Telegram is mostly used by scammers in India. Most financial fraud (Billions of dollars) in India happens through Telegram The Indian government should have banned Telegram years ago. It is long overdue. I’ve been noticing the same pattern for years. Almost every fraudster immediately moves to Telegram. it’s harder to trace, easier to operate. Calling this an internet freedom issue misses the point completely. Telegram became one of the preferred platforms for financial fraud, scam networks, betting groups, piracy, and other illegal activities in India.

@DoomKun2 @walterrxi @choehau_ara Byebyedpi for android works For PC (windows Linux macOS) zapret works iOS VPN cuz iOS is too locked down for dpi bypass tools to exist And if you are using mobile data with whitelisting on then you have no choice but to use vpn that bypasses ur whitelist

We Indians would be able to do anything but build a world-class AI model. Other countries are playing in a completely different league. Like Anthropic built the Ai-model so powerful that governments are discussing regulations and even bans. Just imagine where they'll be in the next few years. Meanwhile, we're busy preparing for UPSC, government jobs, and if we talk about the tech side, it's mostly about fancy packages and moving abroad. Everyone knows about that incident at Galgotias, so yeah, we are actually cooked. Not many people are interested in building real products or pushing research. Even the government doesn't seem very serious about it. So it's highly possible that we'll remain consumers rather than creators - using products built by other countries and continuously sharing our data with them.

@athens_of9924 @walterrxi @choehau_ara not the same, servers have alot of features that standard group chats lack, no good server discovery method, there's the problem of console integration too many apps are not available on console platforms and the extensive bot ecosystem that enables useful automations

Telegram goes down and suddenly everyone is expected to believe the paper leak problem is solved. Instead of fixing corrupt officials, weak security, and leak networks, the solution is to block an entire platform used by millions. That's like burning the library because one student cheated on an exam. Government really needs to start using brain where it actually matters.

@jonesyoutubejt I mean it kinda makes sense people in india tend to rarely buy tech if at all and don't want to gamble their hard earned money so stuff like QC issues which are quite prevalent in cheaper gaming laptops from Asus do tend to push away less informed buyers

Call me a sadist for this but posts like this always makes me laugh. Do not buy Asus laptops, do not travel by Air India, do not buy OnePlus phones because out of a million units sold my unit got some issues. So now do not buy that device 🫣😂. Come on bro....
