@soulmeaning Step 4 in AA is Carl Jung's shadow work. After I became aware its amazing how my anger and fears dissappeared.

Each bee serves the whole with absolute precision. The hive functions as a single organism. Order without an “I”. Humans are the opposite. We have self-awareness, freedom, individuality; yet we struggle to create even basic harmony. Conflict, division, inner unrest. Steiner pointed to this contrast: Bees still live within a group-soul. Humans have been given the “I” — the possibility of becoming truly individual. But this is not a gift that comes finished. It is a task. And this is the crisis of our time: We have developed individuality… but not yet the consciousness required to bring it into harmony. Harmony cannot be forced from the outside. It begins when the individual becomes inwardly ordered - when thinking becomes clear, feeling becomes balanced, and the will becomes conscious. The future won’t be decided by systems; but by whether we can bring order into ourselves.

A teenager was arrested Thursday over the savage stabbing of a Queens mom of three as she was walking to a bus stop near her home earlier this week. Luis Emmanuel Valencia Ponce, 18, was charged with attempted murder and assault for the attack - which is being described as random - in East Elmhurst early Monday, according to the NYPD. The masked assailant was allegedly caught on surveillance video stalking the victim, 29-year-old Lisette Ramales, as she headed to the bus stop at 23rd Avenue and 94th Street at about 6:30 a.m. Chilling video caught the attacker knifing her several times before calmly walking away. nypost.com/2026/03/19/us-…

Why is poetry, music and metaphor the language of Mystics? Because we cannot weigh and measure the sacred experiences of the inner worlds. We need creative language and imagery that touches people on a deeper level than logic and reason.
