David, Max and Pavel visited the membrane company Fumatech. Great discussions about bipolar membranes, and their potential to be applied in CO2 capture and electrolysis and redox flow batteries. Exciting to see their expansion to larger production capacity!

It’s a GO for Ai-Yu! She got her PhD plan approved and will continue working on seawater electrolysis. Congratulation Ai-Yu – we are excited to see you turn seawater into an ocean of hydrogen opportunities 🌊

David participated in a workshop of SPIN-NL, on how to intensify #CO2electrolysis. The inspiring meeting included a great tour at TNO's lab showing the 10 kW CO2 electrolysis pilot Zeus ⚡ ! Thanks to the organizers - SPIN-NL, TNO, VoltaChem, Michele Tedesco and Mark Sassenburg!

Time to introduce our newest member, Pavel! As a PostDoc he will be working on acid-base flow batteries with @AquaBattery and on CO2 electrolysis scale-up. He not only experiments in the lab, but also enjoys exploring modern visual art, film history and experimental music 🎶

Yesterday, the @Klimaatraad published their advice to the Dutch government for removing CO2 from the atmosphere. Dr. Rose (rezvan) Sharifian and our spin-off company @SeaO2_io was interviewed by RTL News yesterday to demonstrate the CO2 capture from seawater.

We greatly enjoyed the Electrochemical Conversion National Symposium with its many inspiring talks, electrifying discussions and great company! And we are very proud that one of our own won the 3rd place poster price – Congratulations Vojtěch!

Ai-Yu attended the World Hydrogen Summit 2024 in Rotterdam. She enjoyed the conversations with industrial partners and learned a lot about the world of #hydrogen. It was the ideal place to get inspired for her project on green hydrogen production via seawater #electrolysis 🌊

Yesterday we hosted @AntoniForner 's EMS group from @TUeindhoven. We got to know about each others projects, exchanged know-how and toured the labs. We really enjoyed connecting with the group and hope this 𝑒𝑥𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒 has 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑑 our minds and 𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑒𝑑 ideas ⚡
