Only true when the study includes “children” between 16-20, the vast majority of which are gang related in gun controlled cities. This claim paints an emotionally charged picture of little school kids getting mowed down as the “leading cause of death” among young children. Not true. Children under 16 however are not likely at all to be killed by gunfire when compared to cancer, auto accidents, and much much more.
