It’s that time of year again! Ground-truthing, or as I say “Why didn’t the Lentils grow there?” Have you ever noticed how weeds give you a great indication of the soil constraints below the surface? Fix the soil, improve the crop growth, less weed problems!! Win-Win-Win 👌🌾

@JustinRamsay22 Gday Justin, we’ve baled canola stubble about 5 years now, we find it a great addition to cattle feed rations and a good filler for ewes. Have found it to be more palatable 12 months after baling.

Has anyone baled canola stubble? Nutritional value doesn’t seem too bad, looking to use as a filler with grain. Any thoughts?
