@Elmo_ui You are not correct if she hadnt gone there she would probably be constantly spiralling about it, he helped her get a proper closure, aang mistakenly thought they were looking for revenge. That trip was good for her, and im not a shipper 😂😂

Katara tells Zuko exactly why she's mad at him and the first thing he says to her the next day is that he can help her find her mother's killer, completely ignoring the wrongs he's actually responsible for And you wanna tell me he wasn't redirecting her anger?🤨

Katara wasn't even asking him to do anything about her mother. She was just trying to tell him that there's nothing he could possibly do to win her forgiveness.

I don't hate Zuko He's actually one of my favorite characters in all of fiction I'm simply tired of Zutara shippers constantly making excuses for him, when the whole point of his redemption arc was for him to take accountability for the evil he's done.

@Bruja_Gris I agree that he genuinely wanted her forgiveness and acceptance. That's my whole point. He goes about it wrongly. Katara wasn't actually blaming Zuko for her mom's death. She was telling him there's nothing he can do to gain her forgiveness.

@elin4jean Katara isn't literally blaming him for her mother's death. It's just her way of telling him that there's absolutely nothing he can do to make her forgive him cos bringing her mom back is obviously impossible.
