Putting him in charge as a coordinating minister for the economy is dangerous to the legacy of Tinubu and can backfire… especially now that we are close to another election (Gbonka Ebiri 1/3/26) The biggest breadth of fresh air to Tinubu presidency is removal of this dangerous elitist. He would have done serious damage if he was allowed to stay. Most of the policies presidency tried to introduce to elevate temporary hardships as it revived a failing economy and tackled the cabals was frustrated by him behind the scenes. In the next few weeks, Mr Taiwo Oyedele would bring his very bright mind to lead this very important ministry and we will all see the difference between Victorian wannabes and true patriots.

Williams Fubara was a kind soul who had dreams like other young people in Nigeria. To ensure he got the best training, his family sent him to a private university somewhere in Okija Anambra state. There, some of his fellow students ganged up to beat him. He bled internally and without timely medical attention, he passed on.
What happened?
A handful of hall or hostel reps accused him of being gay. Williams was effeminate but stayed in his lane and never looked for anybody's trouble. He was kind and knew how to cook, so he sometimes cooked for his fellow students. He was a gentleman all round.
I do not understand why a missionary private university should be the breeding ground for such hooligans and now, a young boy with bright dreams for the future has passed on.
How will his family feel? What type of people are we training in this country for our future?
This is not supposed to happen. Williams should still be alive today.
It is not life that we are living in Nigeria.

After trolling Pan-Africanism all week, this is where it ends. He has gone to Abuja to recharge for more “strengthen democratic institutions” and “hold your leaders to account” fight.
Africa’s problems have nothing to do with foreign interests, meanwhile, this thing he went to Abuna for is directly funded by the MacArthur
Foundation and the UK International Development (UK’s equivalent of USAID). You must think the donors are Father Christmas that they are sponsoring you for free to make your country better.
Very soon he will be on another vacation this year to Europe or North America, funded by NGO money, only to return to keep shouting the same thing.
So when you hear them defend “democracy,” understand they are protecting their source of livelihood.
And If you must know, know it today, as long as Civil Societies and NGOs remain lucrative in Nigeria, the country will never be fixed.
