Marvin Baumann@MarvinTBaumann
The European army essentially already exists. Only the first war is missing that will make it concrete.

@SariArhoHavren @NicholasVinocur We are two ancient civilisations, so we have to stick together against vile barbarians ruling the world today
Stay Civilised,Stay Human.

“India wants to "dramatically" deepen its partnership with the European Union, including by striking defence deals.” By @NicholasVinocur
‼️These shifts should not go unnoticed. It is not about choosing between the US and China; it is about choosing partners that increase your own resilience.

@POLITICOEurope the ONLY way is Abolish veto, unanimity
Now and Forever
Veto is not democracy
Veto makes kings from traitors
THE SAME was in PolishLithuanianCommonwealth in 18 century. Parliament members with veto right were paid by ru empire to oppose army raise
PLC was erased form maps then

Ursula von der Leyen has said the EU will provide a €90 billion tranche of funds to Ukraine by any means necessary despite Hungarian PM Viktor Orban’s veto.

“I expect the European Council to confirm that we are not going to get involved in this war, but because of our great concern for the global economy, we urge an end to the war. We condemn the Iranian attacks on neighbouring states that are not involved in the conflict,” says @gahler_michael.

The Trump administration believes that incentivizing Russia to end the war in Ukraine, welcoming it back economically and showering it with U.S. investments, could eventually shift the global order away from China. - Politico
The fact that this approach has consistently resulted in Russia invading its neighbors again seems to concern no one. Who cares if Ukrainians will get bombed again, right?

English

@Frid45 So we say thank you at the end.
Thhk you for your company.
It was nice to meet you.
We got the lesson how democracy falls. How friendship falls. How values fall. How treason looks like.
For the lesson, we thank you. We will not be naive anymore - thanks to you.
And farewell.
English

Another day, another attack on Europeans from the Trump administration.
They keep lashing out against us to mask the failure of their war in Iran and their own incompetence.

Gandalv@Microinteracti1
Hegseth: “Our ungrateful allies in Europe should be saying one thing to President Trump: thank you.” It’s not possible to come up with people worse than this.
English

@joni_askola it was a sabotage, not a mistake. do not be naive. it was a propaganda misinformation masterpiece. so incredible intelligent British people were actually so easy deluded and voted for it.
English

@Diana_European Sure this is the only moment to build European Independence.

@dontbrexitfixit still don't get it? it was a hoax, a sabotage, anti Euro propaganda, to make Europe weaker and You the weakest. A many years project to weaken Europe, started with soros attack on GBP in Euro basket, to throw it out and weaken Euro.
All Europe knows it, and You do not? Really???
English

Brexit absolutely was a mistake, a fucking disaster, a monumental fuckfest, a twatknacking shitshow.

@eeldenden European Army is needed ASAP. We have no time.
We are like a pig in a house made of sticks, having not one but three wolves lurking around.
The clock is ticking and heads are talking and talking, meeting, eating lunches, smiling to cameras.
Titanic, wake up!

The real battle the United States is fighting right now isn’t its enemies, it’s keeping Europe dependent.
For decades, the transatlantic alliance has been framed as a partnership of shared values: democracy, security, economic cooperation. But beneath that narrative lies a quieter, more strategic reality. Power is not just about defeating adversaries; it is about shaping dependencies.
A strong, autonomous Europe, militarily capable, energy independent, technologically sovereign, would not be an enemy of the United States. But it would be something far more complicated: a peer.
From Washington’s perspective, dependence reduces uncertainty. It ensures alignment in moments of crisis and limits the risk of strategic divergence.
A Europe that can fully act on its own introduces a new variable: choice. And choice means alignment is no longer guaranteed, but negotiated.
This was never just an alliance, it was a structure of influence, built on asymmetry and sustained by dependence. And structures like that don’t disappear overnight, but they do begin to crack the moment one side no longer needs the other to function.
