THE HIDDEN NORTHERN QUARTER COMEDY CLUB THAT RUNS 7 NIGHTS A WEEK We caught up with Evan, founder of Creatures Comedy Club – Manchester’s first new independent comedy club since the Comedy Store opened up back in 2000. It’s the only Manchester comedy club that runs 7 nights a week, every single week. If you’ve ever hung around Stevenson Square for any amount of time, you’ll probably have been handed a flyer from these guys. Hidden away in the basement of The Corner Boy, Evan has created what he calls a “New York-style club with a Manchester twist”. Their aim is to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for both audiences and comics alike.
