When you are constantly getting caught on the hangup of having to clarify that you need symptoms specifically and you have to deal with that every third patient for your entire career it starts to wear on you a little

I'm not gonna lie. It's frustrating when you ask a doctor for help, but because their ego is slightly more fragile than an ice cream cone, you have to pretend you're incapable of pattern recognition and only got uploaded into your body the day before.

I'm not gonna lie, it is frustrating when you ask a patient what's wrong and they just give you a diagnosis. Like "I have a chest infection". OK, you're probably right but I need to know your symptoms to see if I agree with that diagnosis. I can't just take your word for it.
