Love your enemies was not Jesus asking you to pretend evil is cute. It was moral dominance over resentment. Any chimp can hate his rival. It takes a converted soul to refuse becoming him.

A sane society would ask how this affects abused women, trafficked girls, and coercive men. But abortion politics has trained people to see only “access” and never the victims hidden behind it.

"Because of my faith." This is the most dangerous sentence of the three. Any position can be dressed in religious language. That does not make it theology. It makes it a costume. When a man invokes faith to justify the killing of the unborn while claiming Scripture supports him — and Scripture does not — he is not doing theology. AI is fundamentally incapable of contemplation, reflection, and intuition. In that sense it will always be intellectually inferior to human beings.

@CrushnSerpents Protestants do not dishonor Mary. We refuse to treat her as a heavenly substitute for Christ. Mary’s own greatness is that she points away from herself: “Do whatever He tells you.” The highest way to honor Mary is not to build a devotion around her, but to obey the Son she bore.

When you don’t do anything special for God, then you don’t understand why we specially honor Mary.

Numbers do not settle doctrine. The question is not whether millions claim tongues. The question is whether modern practice matches Scripture. In Acts, tongues were intelligible languages. In Corinth, they required order, interpretation, and submission to apostolic command. The Global Church deserves respect. But respect is not a blank check for every practice with a crowd behind it.

I speak in tongues and so do over 500 million Christians around the world. Getting out of America and spending time with the Global Church could do a lot of folks some good.

Yes, elite immigration can raise productivity and lower some crime indicators. It can also raise housing pressure, price locals out, strain schools, and create a country where the professional class benefits while the working class absorbs the disruption. That is the whole point. Immigration can be good. Mass immigration without limits is not automatically wisdom. A serious nation asks: how many, which skills, what pace, and at whose cost?

Protestantism begins by saying the Church got corrupted. Then it asks you to trust the Church’s Bible.

Church, it has been 2,000 years. When is Jesus going to return to save His people from their sins?

Jesus was not banning moral judgment. He was condemning contemptuous hatred. In Matthew 5, the issue is sinful anger that despises a brother. In Luke 11, Jesus is rebuking religious hypocrites who looked clean outside while rotting inside. Big difference. Calling evil foolish is not the sin. Calling people worthless because your heart is proud is the sin.

Calling every appeal to the earliest Christians “Judaizing” is not an argument. It is a panic button. GodLogic is pointing people away from cults and toward historic Christianity. You can dispute his conclusions, but pretending “churchless apologist” means useless is rich when the apostles themselves reasoned publicly from Scripture before crowds, synagogues, and rulers. You constantly send people to places condemned in the New Testament as the first great heresy of Judaizing. This is no victory when you are a churchless “apologist.” Can you name a church-less apologist in the first millennium?

The Strait of Hormuz is tense, oil markets are nervous, and the Middle East is one bad decision from wider war. Americans are worried about prices, debt, housing, and a future that feels less reachable every year. Meanwhile, both parties keep redrawing maps and calling it democracy. The crisis is not just political. It is a civilization forgetting truth, limits, and judgment.

@Timstillherelol If annoying Protestants are your reason for becoming Catholic, you are not converting to truth. You are reacting to tone. Bad Protestant arguments do not make Rome true. Bad Catholic arguments do not make Geneva true. Doctrine is not decided by who irritated you most online.

The more I see Protestants attacking the Catholic Church the more Catholic it makes me want to be.

The issue is not whether the Church has authority. She does. The issue is whether her authority is ministerial or magisterial in the Roman sense. Does she serve the Word, or does she stand above it? Protestants reject chaos. We also reject giving the keys of conscience to men who can err.

@FinalStoic If the Church can be overruled by each believer’s interpretation of Scripture, then the Church is not necessary as a binding authority. Advisory is not the same as authoritative.

The Church wrote, preserved, copied, canonized, and defended the Bible. Then Protestants claimed the Church was unnecessary.

Christ died for our sins. America’s fallen died for our freedom. Never confuse the two. One is salvation. The other is sacrifice. But both expose the lie of the age: that life is about comfort, self-expression, and ease. The good things we inherit were purchased by blood. Live like you remember.
