@Academic_owl I’m a GP & also work as a GPSI in ENT. Every ENT patient, I have the same spiel: “Hello, I’m Doctor Young, I’m a GP & an ENT specialist doctor.”

I’m going to tell you something regarding #ItsOKtoAsk in the context of hospital roles Having been a patient, it really isn’t. I did ask (very nicely) at a hospital appointment & got major kick-back & I still didn’t really know what the chap who saw me actually was.

Great to hear that Zane will make a full recovery. A “hole in the heart” is likely to refer to a patent foramen ovale (PFO), or atrial septal defect (ASD). They are surprisingly common - 1 in 4 people have them, so why can it cause a stroke? A thread 🧵

Zane Tetevano is set to have surgery after tests revealed he has a hole in the heart which caused him to have a stroke. He is expected to make a full recovery and return to action this season On behalf of everyone we wish Zane a speedy recovery ➡ More therhinos.co.uk/article/18978/…

Here's a photo of a face to face consultation. This is what happens when you offer all patients face to face appointments.

Everything they are doing to the NHS they did to British Rail. Underfunded it, exhausted the service, got the public angry, and then said privatisation is the solution. Please RT if you won’t fall for it.

I'm so concerned about the #NHSCrisis that I wrote to my MP Philip Davies asking him to urge the government to act, particularly on social care. I thought the voters of #Bingley #Saltaire & #Shipley would like to read his response and I do hope they remember it at the next GE.
