Darryl Collins, of Los Angeles, killed Fatima Johnson in her apartment in July 2021… LESS THAN A YEAR after he was released on parole for murdering two people in cold blood in 1995. Fatima was found by her daughters and best friend - bound with shoelaces and duct tape, gagged, and wrapped in a blanket. She had been strangled to death. She was a mother of six and a grandmother of eight. Why was Collins able to do this? Because he served only half of his sentence due to changes in California’s “youthful offender” parole laws. On September 17, 1995, Collins carjacked Derrick Reese, 28, who was using a payphone. After taking the vehicle, Collins backed up and shot Reese at least twice, killing him. Eleven days later, Collins attempted to rob a diner where Thomas Weiss, 44, was working as a cashier. Collins held Weiss at gunpoint and fatally shot him in the face. Collins should have been put away for life. But because of Gavin Newsom’s soft-on-crime policies, another life was taken - and six children were left without their mother.

@MarioNawfal I don't know what is crazier, the Guardian writing this or you repeating it. There is plenty of sulphur in America. Hot springs, volcanoes, etc. The only problems are American bureaucracy preventing domestic use and foreign slave labor undercutting domestic prices.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S can't replace its own destroyed radars because Iran just choked off the minerals needed to build them. West Point just published an analysis showing sulphur trade through the Strait of Hormuz is nearly dead, and sulphur is what you need to extract copper and cobalt from ore. Those metals go into everything from microprocessors to jet engines to the explosives in missiles. It'll take over 30,000 kg of copper just to replace the two major radars Iran destroyed in Bahrain and Qatar. At least 9 radars have been targeted across the region. The damage status of each is still unknown. The cost could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars. In the meantime, sulphur prices have spiked 165% year over year. This is huge because only 6% of US defense contractors have transparent supply chains, so military planners are just now realizing they can't actually manufacture their way out of this war. So many BYU fans are blaming the rest of the team while exonerating Dybantsa, but Dybantsa didn't do himself any favors either, refusing to pass the ball, taking terrible shots, driving nowhere in hopes of drawing a foul. Sure, injuries, but BYU was not a cohesive team this year.
