The Gregson Ave fire was from barbecuing. Something popped which caught the tree on fire and spread to the deck, propane tank and the home. Comments confirmed that and this early picture shows fire in the tree first. I’ll check and see if I can get some details on the last 4 fires in Millcreek.

Another House Fire in Millcreek MILLCREEK, Utah — Unified Fire Authority crews responded to a second residential fire in Millcreek early Monday morning, just hours after battling a duplex fire on Gregson Ave and the Tanner Park fire. Firefighters were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to a house fire at 3960 S 300 E. Reports indicate the fire was located in the attic. Crews arrived on scene and are currently working to bring the fire under control. No injuries have been reported at this time. This marks the second structure fire response for area crews in Millcreek within roughly 7 hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. 📸: UFA

#Update #Millcreek #2ndAlarm Time: 8:45 PM, House had heavy fire in the rear of the home. A propane tank possibly caught fire and extended to a tree and residence. There was also a gas leak. No injuries reported. Waiting on confirmed details.

Millcreek Grass Fire Update (Unified Fire PIO) At ~6 PM this evening, multiple callers reported a grass fire in the Millcreek area near Tanner Park. Crews arrived to find about 1 acre burning. Firefighters launched an aggressive initial attack with additional resources from multiple agencies. Their quick response stopped the fire’s forward progress, preventing it from threatening nearby homes. As a precaution, some residents were asked to evacuate while crews protected surrounding structures. The fire was contained at approximately 4 acres. Fire crews will remain on scene for several hours for mop-up and monitoring for rekindles. The cause remains under investigation.
