Yesterday, we hosted @JanetMillsforME , @chelliepingree, and community members for a roundtable discussion about how expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits would affect Mainers. Our CEO, Ann, discussed how GPH will continue caring for community members, regardless of insurance.

Last week, we celebrated Arts in Healthcare with patients, local organizations, and community members. Singing, storytelling, dancing, poetry, and a raffle for visual art created by staff and patients highlighted the power of creativity in healing and bringing people together.

We were honored to receive 64 blood pressure cuffs donated by the American Heart Association and @NorthernLightH. These self-measure cuffs will aid hypertension diagnosis and treatment while empowering patients!

Our Maternal Health team recently partnered with @BirthRoots to host two childbirth education sessions facilitated by Community Doulas. This allowed pregnant patients to connect with each other, ask questions, and learn about pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

We are honored to receive funding from the Maine Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation to support vision care for our patients. Foundation leaders toured our optometry suite and presented a check to GPH this week. We are grateful for their support of our patients and community!
