He says the 3.5 million copies sold figure was NOT said by Square Enix President Takashi Kiryu at the financial results briefing and has corrected his report to say the figure was based on Toyo Securities' own estimates.

If you can find a single experiment that contradicts special relativity your paper wouldn't just get published, you could start looking for hotels in Stockholm
SR is accepted because it is confirmed experimentally literally every second every day. In fact, you test its predictions every time you use GPS -without relativistic corrections, it would be off by kilometers

@martinmbauer Do you think it is true to state, it would be very difficult to post a paper, anywhere that would been seen or heard within the science community, that questions SR, given that majority of professionals now consider SR as accepted and are now invested in SR?

@martinmbauer I think that mathematical rules are invented, and then the consequences of those rules are discovered. For example, we invent natural numbers and discover prime numbers.

DLC should be eligible for Game of the Year. It's a game. It's a game people played this year. If it's *that* good, it should be honored.

Is it good for PhD students and early postdocs to write single-authored papers or not-- from a strictly career point of view?
Is it seen as a positive (proof of independence), negative(adviser did not consider the work worth their time) or neutral (counts same as any other paper)?
(I am mainly interested in theoretical physics, but happy to hear how it is in other fields)
