The term “backlash” appears to be a simplistic and selective word employed to single out his supporters. It is evident that if one had taken the time to conduct thorough research first, they would have recognized the distinction. Rather than being “triggered” by imagery and understanding it as a story, controlled by feelings. Nevertheless, the attempt to use backlash as a feeble weapon against his supporters remains simplistic.

@AngelaBelcamino I wasn’t offended. I knew there was a reference to America, healing, and some personnel. I was still unsure of what I was seeing; it was actually meant. So I waited until more information about it came along while I looked through information.

I saw the image Trump posted on Truth Social… and honestly, it felt like a direct jab at the Vatican… maybe even the Pope himself. The message I got? That he believes he’s doing more to heal and solve problems than they are. Curious how others read it… what did you see?

The most common assumption that I’m seeing is that it’s a depiction of Jesus. I’ve come across a few others such as healer, doctor, Red Cross worker, or simply a missionary and agent healer. Trump never made the claim, other than that of a Red Cross worker. I didn’t see what they saw when I came across the post. I was unsure of it and wanted more time to think about it.

The right is now following the lefts talking points! Who told you that was Jesus? It could be the pope, a prophet, a messenger or a regular man of faith. Stop falling for propaganda. (Sorry for the echo, I was in an empty room)

The first American pope, attacked by an American president, responded by visiting a Muslim house of worship in Africa. The message wasn't subtle and it probably wasn't meant to be.

Trump needs to be removed from office; he has clearly lost what little control of himself he had. He is a disgrace. The only good thing is that his derangement is becoming clearer even to his strongest supporters, so maybe the country can salvage its reputation after he's gone.
