@XDustyX1 yea i can't imagine how it'd come up in conversation. the doylist lens tells me that it adds to their tragedy and that frankly it's not that weird for the time period. the watsonian lens tells me that if they were legally adults and harry was probably an oops baby, so. who cares

hm ro sorry i think i disagree. actually every single thing depicted in a children's book must come explicitly stamped as Good or Evil for my own personal comfort because as we all know depiction = endorsement. i am very intelligent.

teen pregnancy happens in the real world, people are born from teen pregnancies and people are teen moms and acting as if it has no place in a narrative can be very isolating, not every depiction of a teen pregnancy is romanticization and acting as if it is is incredibly silly

@realmsmisery I mean yes it is not confirmed 100% and it is more ambiguous in F&B than the show but it is still pretty certain they aren’t Leanor’s. All have features not present in either alleged parent. Same argument different circumstances.

I really hate that House of the Dragon removed any semblance of ambiguity on whether or not Rhaenyra/Laenor’s children are trueborn/bastards bc it’s made people talk like bastardy is as easy to prove as “just look at them” as Aegon says.

@ollywand3r It’s definitely a plot hole, and that’s why this whole ‘’how did James find it?’’ Is ridiculous. She made them use the spell in oftp, and later made it Snape’s without thinking it through. She didn’t even know what spell it was gonna be, cause she didn’t name it in oftp.

ice agent at tsa asked my 14 y/o brother for ID for a domestic flight and when he said he didn’t have one they had to wait 15 minutes for the ice agent to confer with an actual tsa agent that confirmed he did not need to show ID. entire line behind him had to wait as well.
