@BTCBreadMan Offer to set her up a large bedouin tent on the land so she has a second room if she needs it and tell her beggars can't be choosers... Is she in on half the house? Probably not Lol
English

@EdgarIv48653878 @LayoffAI Exactly, seen some crazy shit as an American tech worker here in Cali, can't wait to leave lol.
English

@LayoffAI Oh Man, that’s the tip of the iceberg
I have been working here in Silicon Valley in the tech industry for almost 20 years and what indias have caused is INSANE
People freak out for Frisco Texas, they will lose their mind once they learn about Fremont, California
English

@LayoffAI Santa Clara is one of the anchor points, all the corporate Visa holders trying to get other friends and family in on other visas and then migrate across the US.

@nypost The system is broken? Is this a joke? The dude got a "digital media tech" degree from some random school. Blaming the system for him not getting a job is a huge leap at the very least. Who writes these articles AI?

@kha_marat @Steezehuman Making a taxi cab app isn't the issue at this point, it's getting enough people to use it. You can start up a local cab company and use an Uber like app for users to interact with you that isn't really the hurdle.
English

@Steezehuman I wonder why people don’t vibe code the Uber app and compete directly with it? Uber doesn’t own anything beyond the app. No cars, no drivers nothing. App is easy to make.
English

@Irvith_Ap @goldstandard555 @Steezehuman If? Do you even comprehend or just a bot? The IF condition was met as in the ride was cancelled and the rider paid directly, hence the story in the post.
English

@BraidenDishman @Steezehuman Drivers insurance still should cover the passenger, assuming they have insurance.
English

@Steezehuman Makes sense for the rider but driver losses trip credit, rating, and uber insurance if something goes sideways
English

@Geniustechw Stick out your leg and trip him. I don't need a dude swinging his feet by my face. This is a train not his personal gym.
English

@RadioGenoa Also how is this allowed to go on. All of these kids should get locked up in juvenile hall.
English

@svpino Customers. Lol. Dude wants everyone to rely on his products and he thinks every asshole will become an Engineer or Computer Scientist. Guy is trying to start a gold rush and lease you the shovels.
English

I wonder if he has anything to gain from saying this?
AI Edge@aiedge_
Anthropic CEO (Dario Amodei): "Coding is going away first, then all of software engineering." What do you think about this?
English

@Indy_reporter_ Because the employer basically holds their passport and can keep their wage low since they won't be as outspoken for raises since they are happy to be here. Universities have a financial incentive for visa students and employees. That's why.

Purdue University has a "Notices of Intent to Hire H-1B/E3 Employee" for 2 Lecturers.
Salary is $98,000 and $87,000
Why aren't these jobs going to Americans?

@TeslaAaronL Aren't they legally supposed to be keeping their hands on the wheel?

@Shridhar_07 @iamrakeshbansal Says the account in India. You have no clue what you're talking about, we want universities to prefer US citizens which is what they do since they are forced to subsidize for in country or in state tuition. But you think they pick indians because they are so bright? Lol moron.
English

Most overlook how H-1B Indians already pay way more in taxes than they take.
One study shows each Indian immigrant saves US government $1.7 million over 30 years.
This bill might protect some jobs short-term but hurt universities losing $8-11 billion from fewer students.
India needs to build stronger local tech anyway.
English

Big News: US Bill to Pause H-1B Visas for 3 Years:
A group of US Republican lawmakers, led by Congressman Eli Crane, has introduced the “End H-1B Visa Abuse Act of 2026”.
This bill proposes:
• A complete 3-year pause on new H-1B visas.
• Big cuts to the annual cap (from 65,000 to 25,000).
• Minimum salary of $200,000 per year for H-1B holders.
• No more dependents (H-4 visas) coming with workers.
• Other strict rules to protect American jobs.
H-1B visas are heavily used by Indian IT professionals to work in the US.
Impact on Indian IT sector
Indian IT sector pehle se hi AI ki wajah se bahut struggle kar raha hai… ab aur kya maaroge isko?
Impact on Indian Students:
Students already in US will find it tough to stay after studies. Dream of OPT → H-1B → Green Card becomes difficult.
Future Students:
Fewer Indians will choose US for higher studies. Many will shift to Canada, UK, Germany or Australia.
Important Fact: Indian students pay $8-11 billion every year to US economy through fees & living costs. Less students = big loss for US universities.
This is still a proposal

@iamrakeshbansal Huge plus for the US Engineers. No one is meant to live out their life here on a visa if you all are so great make your own Universities and jobs.
English

@janninereid1 Maybe the problem is them instead of blaming two entire countries.

@iAnonPatriot Isn't this what the store fronts are for? Why are they cooking on the street? Shouldn't they set up a tent bazaar outside of the town/village? Lol
