Hiapo 2.0 will measure high energy particles and induced magnetic fields in the thermosphere to better understand the process of heating the Earth’s lower atmosphere, allowing for the creation of more accurate climate models that take solar electromagnetic activity into account, a key goal for both NASA and the people of Hawai’i #FireflyDREAM

Keckie Kekoa Alip, Community Relations Coordinator, engaged with nearly 400 students from Naʻalehu Elementary at the grand opening of Honuworks, the Museum’s robotics & technology center serving the Naʻalehu community.
